MPMF-Friday

Shoes!

Friday-
Not so many pics until after the gig. Sorry, I forgot to give Dave my camera so these are stills from his IPhone movie. We were so busy. I tried to catch up on sleep and I ended up missing breakfast.
In the afternoon, we meet up with Sam Wulfeck of Sparrow Bellows
www.myspace.com/sparrowbellows
Sammy is sooooo nice! He helps out blueVenus Big Time by letting us use his band's rehearsal space
the day of the show and lending us his band's drum kit. Thank you Sammy!<3

We only get a little lost on the way back.
Cincinnati's Vine street has many beautiful
houses that are now abandoned but they've
started to fix them up. At the same time, the
area is very poor and depressing.
We get back and I finally get to eat some real
food. Then back to the hotel to get ready to play and
meet up with my amazing street team Joe Doxsey and Kimberly Fackey! Thanks to Debra and Michael Schneider, and Tim Doxsey for connecting me with them.

We played with these cool bands!:

MPMF Thursday

Thursday-The trip up! Exciting! On the drive up, most of the time, I'm entertaining EJ or speaking and emailing with Joyce Domingo who designed the poster and limited mpmf bV tshirt! We are getting handbills printed in Cincy. Somehow I don't manage a nap. The border crossing was relatively quick, thanks to Local 1000's Amy and Susan from the Canadian division of the AFM. We all eat at a Panera Bread...they play John Coltrane as background music...our ears are better fed, enough said. We get to our hotel well after midnight.
Special thanks to Dave Markham and Tony Nesbitt-Larking for getting us there and back safely.
